The rock and nu-metal community is mourning the sudden loss of Adam Ramey, co-founder and lead vocalist of Dropout Kings, who passed away on May 19, 2025, at the age of 32.
The band confirmed his passing via social media, expressing profound grief and highlighting his passion, energy, and love for music that shaped Dropout Kings and touched countless lives.

Beyond his musical endeavors, Ramey was a devoted father and entrepreneur, running PUSH Digital Marketing. His last performance with Dropout Kings was in February 2024 at the Orpheum in Tampa, Florida.
Ramey is survived by his wife, Jamie, and their son, Jude. The cause of his death has not been disclosed.
