Ghost has launched their 2025 “Skeletour World Tour” with a spectacular opening night in Manchester, England. The performance introduced fans to the new persona of Papa V Perpetua and featured the live debut of six tracks from their latest album, Skeletá.
A Theatrical Transformation
The AO Arena was transformed into a gothic spectacle as the band unveiled their updated stage personas. Papa V Perpetua emerged in elaborate regalia, signaling a new chapter in Ghost’s evolving narrative. The Nameless Ghouls complemented the aesthetic with formal top hats, while skeletal backing vocalists added to the macabre ambiance.
Debut of Skeletá Tracks
The 21-song setlist blended fan favorites with fresh material from Skeletá. The new tracks showcased the band’s continued evolution, combining heavy riffs with haunting melodies that captivated the audience.
Embracing a Phone-Free Experience
In a move to enhance the concert experience, Ghost implemented a strict no-phone policy. Attendees secured their devices in Yondr pouches, allowing them to immerse themselves fully in the performance without digital distractions. This initiative aims to foster a deeper connection between the band and their audience.
Tour Continues Across Continents
Following the UK debut, the tour will proceed through Europe, North America, and Mexico. Notable upcoming dates include performances in London, Birmingham, Antwerp, Frankfurt, Munich, and a North American leg starting on July 9 in Baltimore. The tour will conclude with two shows in Mexico City on September 24 and 25.
