In 2024, Spain’s live music industry experienced unprecedented growth, with concert ticket sales reaching a historic high of €725.6 million—a 25.32% increase from the previous year’s €579 million.
National Tours: Melendi Dominates
Among domestic artists, Melendi led the charts with his “20 Años Sin Noticias” tour, selling 501,197 tickets across 41 shows. Estopa followed closely, achieving sold-out status in all 25 concerts of their “25 Aniversario” tour, totaling 376,805 tickets. Robe’s “Ni Santos Ni Inocentes” tour secured the third spot, with 280,901 tickets sold over 37 performances.
International Acts: Bruce Springsteen Tops the List
On the international front, Bruce Springsteen emerged as the most successful artist, selling 275,885 tickets across five sold-out shows. Karol G’s four consecutive performances at Madrid’s Estadio Santiago Bernabéu attracted 219,943 attendees, while Luis Miguel’s 12 concerts in Spain amassed a total of 203,114 tickets sold.
Festival Success: Icónica Santalucía Sevilla Fest Leads
The festival circuit also thrived, with Icónica Santalucía Sevilla Fest in Seville leading as the top festival of its kind in Spain. The event sold 195,198 tickets over 28 concerts, surpassing Madrid’s Noches del Botánico, which sold 184,176 tickets across 53 events, and Marenostrum Fuengirola, with 140,449 tickets over 28 shows.
This remarkable surge underscores the robust demand for live music in Spain, positioning the country as a vibrant hub for both national and international artists.
