Skid Row guitarist Dave “Snake” Sabo has once again dismissed the possibility of reuniting with former lead singer Sebastian Bach, emphasizing that the band’s current lineup brings them happiness and stability. In a recent interview with The Hook Rocks, Sabo stated, “The answer has been the same for – I don’t know – 20,000 years now. It’s not gonna happen.”
Sabo highlighted that the band’s contentment is paramount, saying, “It’s about being happy in the situation that you’re in.” He also noted that, despite substantial financial offers for a reunion, the decision is not driven by money but by the desire to maintain personal and collective well-being,
This stance is consistent with Sabo’s previous comments. In an earlier interview with We Go To 11, he remarked, “It all comes down to happiness, and we’re very, very, very happy where we are.”
Sebastian Bach, who fronted Skid Row from 1986 until his departure in 1996, has expressed openness to a reunion. He has questioned why the band never sought professional mediation to resolve their differences, stating, “I don’t understand why we never tried working with a therapist.”
Despite Bach’s willingness, Sabo and other founding members, including bassist Rachel Bolan and guitarist Scotti Hill, remain firm in their decision. Sabo emphasized that the choice is collective and not solely attributed to any one member, underscoring their shared desire to preserve the band’s current harmony.
