
A metalcore concert at San Antonio’s Paper Tiger venue on December 27 turned violent when a 21-year-old attendee was stabbed multiple times. The event featured bands such as Life Cycles, Fear of Loss, Voracious Contempt, Crossways 3000, and Public Threat.
The altercation occurred around 10:10 p.m. inside the venue, leading to the victim being found outside with multiple stab wounds. He was promptly transported to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition.
Authorities arrested 36-year-old John Guerrero at the scene, who was identified by witnesses as the assailant and was found in possession of a knife. He has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Guerrero was booked into the Bexar County Adult Detention Center and later released on a $100,000 bond. A court hearing is scheduled for March 3.
