Ronnie Radke, frontman of Falling in Reverse, has once again found himself at the center of controversy—this time in Australia. Reports indicate that Radke has been reported to the police following the resurfacing of past videos containing offensive language and gestures.
The controversy emerged as Falling in Reverse prepares for their Australian tour. Members of the Greens party, including MP Stephen Bates and Senator Jordon Steele-John, condemned Radke’s behavior in a formal complaint, calling the footage “unacceptable” and “deeply offensive.” The videos in question, some dating back years, include Radke using ableist slurs and making inappropriate gestures toward people with disabilities.
Bates stated that such actions have no place in Australia and expressed disappointment in venues that continue to host Radke’s performances. Meanwhile, the Australian Minister for the National Disability Insurance Scheme, Bill Shorten, echoed these concerns and called for an investigation into whether Radke’s entry into the country should be permitted.
Radke has responded to the backlash, maintaining his stance that his past actions have been taken out of context and that his critics are attempting to cancel him. This is not the first time the singer has faced controversy—his career has been marred by legal troubles and past altercations.
Despite the growing pressure, Falling in Reverse’s tour in Australia is still scheduled to proceed. However, with government officials and activists calling for action, it remains uncertain whether Radke will be allowed to perform.
