Butcher Babies and Ded Join the Lineup Following Oceano’s Departure
Attila has revealed that Butcher Babies and Ded will replace Oceano on their upcoming 2025 America’s Rejects Tour. The tour, originally announced in late November, faced controversy after Oceano vocalist Adam Warren decided to leave the band following backlash surrounding the tour lineup.
The America’s Rejects Tour will kick off on March 4 in Destin, Florida, and conclude on April 5 in Tampa, Florida. Along with this announcement, Attila also released the song “America’s Rejects”, which frontman Chris Fronzak described as “an anthem for anyone who’s ever felt like they didn’t belong.”
“Adding Butcher Babies and Ded to this lineup takes it to a whole new level,” Fronzak said in a press release. “This tour isn’t just a show; it’s a movement. We’re uniting the rejects, the outcasts, and anyone ready to defy the norm. 2025 is our year!”
Tickets for the tour are available on Attila’s official website, and the band’s latest single can be streamed now.
The Controversy Surrounding Oceano’s Departure
Oceano faced intense scrutiny after joining the tour with Attila and Dealer, primarily due to past sexual misconduct allegations against Attila’s Chris Fronzak and Dealer’s Aidan Ellaz Holmes. Critics, including a Texas-based DIY label, called out Oceano for participating in the tour, suggesting it created a problematic environment.
Initially, Adam Warren defended his decision, claiming he was unaware of the allegations and promising to speak up if misconduct occurred during the tour. However, shortly after, Warren announced his resignation from Oceano, citing his lack of prior knowledge about the accusations and their impact on the band’s involvement.
“I was not informed enough to make a proper decision to tour with this package,” Warren explained in his departure statement.
Fronzak and Holmes Respond
Chris Fronzak dismissed the controversy in a blunt social media post, stating, “Yeah, here’s my comment—I don’t give a f**k!” Holmes, Dealer’s frontman, also weighed in, accusing critics of hypocrisy and alleging that his former band, Alpha Wolf, has consistently weaponized the allegations against him since his departure in 2018.
Despite the challenges, Attila is pushing forward with the revised lineup and a defiant message to their critics.
