The Origin Story of CRIMSON STORM
CRIMSON STORM was founded in 2009 by guitarist and songwriter Lögan Heads in his hometown of Sardinia, Italy. The band aimed to revive the glory days of 1980s Heavy Power Speed Metal, drawing inspiration from legends like RIOT, whose song “Sign Of The Crimson Storm” inspired the band’s name.
After several lineup changes, CRIMSON STORM released their first EP, Motor City Maniac, in 2014. This was followed by the 7″ EP Speed Hammerin’ Metal in 2015. That same year, Lögan relocated to Barcelona, Spain, where the band was restructured, eventually leading to the release of their second EP, Outrageous, in 2019.
Milestones and Debut Album Creation
By 2022, CRIMSON STORM had returned to live performances, opening for Stallion in Murcia, Spain, and playing at international festivals like Trveheim in Germany and Pyrenean Warriors Open Air in France. These experiences paved the way for their debut full-length album.
In 2024, the band entered the studio to record Livin’ On the Bad Side, blending their early singles with fresh material. Partnering with Fighter Records, they are set to deliver a record filled with sonic power, frenzied energy, ’80s nostalgia, and a biker spirit.
