Kiss’s future might include groundbreaking virtual avatar shows, with the iconic rock band led by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley teasing this project set for a 2027 debut. However, the torch could also be passed to a new generation—one much closer to home.
Gene Simmons recently shared a video starring his son, Nick Simmons, and Evan Stanley, son of Paul Stanley. In a heartwarming performance of Simon & Garfunkel’s timeless classic “The Sound of Silence,” the duo impressively captured the song’s signature harmonies. Nick’s striking resemblance to his father adds a nostalgic layer to the performance, while Evan showcases his guitar skills, following in his dad’s footsteps.
“Watch this. It’s incredible,” Simmons wrote when sharing the video on social media. The performance, full of emotion and precision, has sparked imaginations of a new generation of Kiss—complete with face paint and platform boots.
Both Nick and Evan are already deeply involved in music. Evan leads the band Amber Wild, who opened for Kiss during their farewell tour, while Nick is part of the electronic project Sym Fera and has collaborated with artists like Wolfmother and Kiss alum Bruce Kulick.
With their musical talents and lineage, could these heirs of rock royalty carry the Kiss legacy into the future? Fans can only hope.
