The band’s roots can be traced back to a youth rich in friendships and a passion for heavy metal. In 2004, Daniel Delgado (drummer) teamed up with Tomás Guerrero (guitarist) and Diego Quiroz (guitarist/vocalist) to produce an EP entitled Earthly Purgatory (2006), under the name Fallen Fortress, which was heavily influenced by black metal.
For their sophomore effort, the band shifted towards a more death metal-inspired sound and released their LP Dehumanized (2011), produced by JT García.
From 2011 to 2014, the band concentrated on their LP while touring the national circuit, before entering a six-year break.
In 2020, the band made the decision to resume their activities, beginning to write material for what would eventually become their latest album, At the Heart of Emptiness (2025). This marked the introduction of their current bassist, Christopher Oros (formerly of Warchest/Ground Meat).
The album is rich in emotion, and despite the challenges posed by COVID-19 and geographical obstacles, it was finally released, once again under the production of JT García. With a sound deeply rooted in black and death metal, this album seeks to establish the band’s presence in the contemporary Chilean metal scene and demonstrate that Chile is a stronghold for metal music.
