Deathcore enthusiasts, take note: Oceano has unveiled the final lineup for their upcoming farewell tour, set to kick off on May 13 in Indianapolis and conclude on May 24 in Des Moines, Iowa. This announcement follows a recent dispute over the tour’s promotional artwork, which led to changes in the supporting acts.
Earlier this month, Oceano shared plans for their final series of performances. However, controversy arose when artist Chris Gallen claimed that the tour poster closely resembled artwork he had previously submitted to the band, which was initially declined. Gallen took to social media to display his original submission alongside the band’s promotional material and shared messages with vocalist Adam Warren, who offered Gallen $100 to resolve the issue.
In the wake of this dispute, Oceano’s social media accounts were temporarily deactivated, and the band I Declare War, initially slated as an opener, removed tour mentions from their profiles. Additionally, See You Next Tuesday announced their withdrawal from the tour, citing concerns over the artwork controversy, especially since several members are visual artists themselves.
Despite these challenges, the tour is moving forward with a refreshed lineup. The final roster includes I Declare War, Escuela Grind (replacing See You Next Tuesday), Filth, and Backbiter. A new tour poster featuring different artwork has also been released for promotion.
Tickets are currently available through the tour’s official website. Don’t miss this opportunity to witness Oceano’s final performances alongside a dynamic lineup of supporting acts.
